BD4NRG has launched its Open Call, which is open until 15 December 2022 at 17:00h CET (Brussels time) for applicants to submit their applications. BD4NRG is looking for Big-data governance and analytical applications in the energy sector (innovative solutions and prototypes under BD4NRG’s three main pillars BD4-NET, BD4-DER, BD4-ENEF).
BD4NRG envisions to provide financial support to innovators, as a means to enhance the current work of demonstration efforts and tools to elevate the BD4NRG overall framework.
BD4NRG Open Call is looking for up to 10 SMEs and Start-ups that will introduce new services by integrating and making use of the services and data offered through the BD4NRG platform.
Who can apply?
Financial support will be provided to SMEs and Start-ups established in an EU Member State or in an Associated Country (as stated in Article 7 of the Horizon 2020 Regulation). Only single entities are eligible. The legal entity is required to possess a validated Participant Identification Code (this code is provided for interested parties to participate in EU funding programmes and procurements).
What are we looking for?
BD4NRG envisions to give a competitive edge to improve decision making and open new market opportunities in energy sector. Its goal is to unlock and exploit the economic potential of big data and give energy sector stakeholders the opportunity to improve their business operational performance.
BD4NRG Open Call will distribute up to 500K EUR among up to 10 SMEs and Start-ups with the initiative to bring new application experiments, by taking up and validating the results gained in the first phase of BD4NRG. The selected Open Call applications will contribute to the impact of the BD4NRG project on the energy ecosystem and the generalisation and validation of BD4NRG framework.
Which are the topics?
More specifically applicants are asked to submit proposals under one of the following 4 topics with the initiative to promote the development of new tools, services and activities:
1. Efficiency and reliability of electricity networks operation improvement
2. Optimisation of grid and distributed assets
3. Energy efficiency investments planning
4. Cross-Cutting Applications
Each successful applicant will receive a maximum of 60K EUR funding!
